I enjoyed your photos of everything blooming, blue skies, and the view from your window. Our days in Texas are parched and in the triple digits. The heat has a way of sucking the life out of you, but we can discover hidden treasures surrounding us when we stop to listen, smell, see (thanks for the link back :). In the meantime, I'm hoping for another rainy day; we need one desperately!

I love a rainy summer morning, instead of the usual quick heating up of the day.
I’m an early riser in summer and on rainy mornings I like how the night lingers. What can be gloomy and depressing in winter is refreshing and invigorating in summer.
I take my coffee out to the screened-in porch and feed the cat.
He’s usually better company then too. Goes out, looks around, decides it’s not for him, then comes right back in, jumps up onto the worktable and sits looking at me expectantly. What’s the Nirvana line? “Here we are now, entertain us.” Something like that, I guess.
Avoiding the news and social media usually helps me quiet the noise and enjoy life again. The photos are wonderful.
