Lisa, I'm sure that remembering names using a new language when the names are a bit unfamiliar would be a challenge.

All the best with NaNoWriMo too.

Thanks, Karen. It’s been an interesting journey in how my brain works, moving here. Language is so fluid. Is there a sewing version of NaNoWriMo? International Quilt Making Month? InQuiMaMo?!

I don't think there is a sewing version. So, I'm going to do it my way. I'm writing a cookbook with the family backstory on each recipe, the recipe and a haiku for each of the recipes. I'm also writing a book on The Healing Benefit of the Needle Arts. I'll work at it all and keep track of the volume of writing. :)

Fabulous!!! What great ideas ✨ I’ve thought about a recipe book anthology where people write a story & a recipe - a whole book yourself is great! I look forward to hearing about your progress this month 💛

Thanks, Lisa. This cookbook is a request from my grandchildren. Every time we have a particular recipe the kids like, I hear, "make sure you put this in the cookbook Nana".

Remembering names is a Super Power! I have a hard time with it in ONE language! However, ... I am positive that if you put your mind to it, you would re-master this in ANY language. Because you are you of course! And I'm so excited you are taking the NaNoWriMo plunge! Me too :)
